Day 10 of our Europe Trip
Saturday 19th March
We spent the morning catching up with some work and took full advantage of the campsite electricity. By lunchtime, the sun was shining and it was nearly 20C so we cleaned up the TinTent, had a hot shower and put a load of washing on - not super exciting but it felt like a real luxury to have these things so easy to access.
In the afternoon, we took a walk into Hondarribia. It is a town close to the French border and you can see France across the water. We strolled down to the harbour and could see little fishing boats on one side and charming houses on the other. With it being Saturday evening, everyone was out enjoying the sunshine, grabbing dinner, walking their dogs, watching a football game or enjoying catching up with friends and family. It had a real sense of community and felt like a lovely place to be.
The old town was also beautiful, with its narrow streets and sides streets that you into a maze of stunning architecture dating back to medieval times.
After that, we headed home to our TinTent and got cozy, spending the evening doing a little more work and then catching up on some of our favourite TV shows.
