Introduction to our Europe Trip!

Hi, I’m Hannah and my partner is Arthur. And of course Teddy, our border terrier. We decided to change our car in lockdown to a Vauxhall Combo, also known as our TinTent, for something with a little more space, and set out on a project to convert our car into a camper. My parents had already got the same car and had done a conversion themselves, so we had a bit of help getting an idea for our conversion but chose a different layout style to suit our travel needs.

We chose a 50/50 balance between space and storage and we created a sofa/living space, which folds to a bed, a storage box with our cooking equipment, a toilet and plenty (well just enough!) of space to store our clothes.

Since then, we have spent the last year travelling on weekends and during holidays exploring parts of the UK including Scotland, Wales, The Lakes, Yorkshire and more. We have loved (almost) every minute of our travels, from spending weekends to a week away at a time. However, as 2022 begun, we wanted to try something a little different. We wanted to see if our car converted camper could stand the tests of time and work for us on a 5 week road-trip around Europe living out of the back of our car.

Join us on our journey and see what we get up to!
