Day 15 of our Europe Trip

Thursday 24th March

We started the day on Camping Deva Dijon campsite and it’s a lovely site, although I can imagine it to be pretty busy in the summer season. We headed into Dijon, although quickly ended up meandering the coastline of the Costa Verde; or well known as the Green Coast on the Cantabria Sea, located in the principality of Asturias, the capital city of which is Oviedo. We made our way to the point of Faro de Cabo Penas, a 19th-century lighthouse with guided tours and a maritime museum. I can recommend the lovely walk along the cliff tops, as the views are breathtaking, although hold onto your things as Arthur lost his sunglasses in the wind!

We also stopped in Candas along the way and eat at the Restaurant Tresmallo, where we had a selection of tapas, I really do love the food here in Spain!

This journey one way, was only around 30-40 minutes from the campsite, and after a fairly relaxing day we headed back to the site for hot showers, a bottle of wine and some delicious food before calling it a day.
