Day 8 of our Europe Trip

Thursday 17th March 

After our challenge of finding hot showers the night before, we started the morning by making our own. We have with us a tailgate for our car, which goes over the boot and creates like a mini awning and a portable re-chargable shower. It took slightly longer than a shower at home, and lets say you had to be fast as water was limited. We heated up the water the old fashioned way; on the cooker and after what felt like an eternity we finally had hot showers. I say hot because it really was! Not luxurious, Not long but hot. It was just what was needed.

We spent the rest of the day catching up on work and admin and otherwise haven’t moved much. The plan over the next few days is to visit Biarritz and then arrive in Spain!
